EVERETT, Wash. (Oct. 12, 2016) Capt. Mark A. Lakamp, Naval Station Everett commanding officer, and BRIGHT, mascot for Navy Installation Command’s shore energy program, speak during the installation Energy and Recycling Fair. The fair is part of Energy Action Month, which is headed by the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Federal Energy Management Program. As proclaimed by President Obama, October marks Energy Action Month, and the nation is looking to the federal government to provide leadership in energy management and sustainability.
