Photos: USGS Teams with Blue Heron Middle School to Conduct Beach Seining at Naval Magazine Indian Island

170428-N-VH385-052 INDIAN ISLAND, Wash., (April 28, 2017) – Students from Blue Heron Middle School collect marine life samples during a community outreach beach seining with the United States Geological Survey (USGS) at Naval Magazine Indian Island. This is the third year the USGS has teamed up with Blue Heron Middle School and Naval Magazine Indian Island to conduct beach seinings in preparation for the Kilsut Spit waterflow to be opened between Marrowstone and Indian Island.
