Naval Station Everett Emergency Response Exercise May 31

EVERETT, Wash. – Naval Station Everett will conduct a regularly scheduled exercise on Wednesday, May 31. During the exercise, Navy personnel and others who access the base should prepare for a gate closure lasting several minutes and possible traffic delays at approximately 10 a.m.

The exercise scenario will include the use of simulated gun shots using blank rounds, emergency response vehicles, and boat activity in the harbor.

The exercise is designed for Navy and local emergency personnel to practice a coordinated response and improve readiness prior to an actual emergency or disaster.

Naval Station Everett is committed to coordinating with local community authorities for response and recovery operations in times of crisis.
