Day 3 of Seattle Seafair Fleet Week activities included public ship tours, Sailors and Coastguardsmen assisting Pacific Science Center, Sailors and Marines volunteering at The Garden Club retirement community, Navy Divers from Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility’s Everett Dive Locker showcasing a diving display at Seattle Aquarium, Port of Seattle Police Chief for the Day visiting USS Somerset (LPD 25), the Defense Support for Civil Authorities Senior Leadership Engagement Session, the Seattle Navy League welcome dinner and the Seafair Air Show Reception. Seafair Fleet Week is an annual celebration of the sea services wherein Sailors, Marines and Coast Guard members from visiting U.S. Navy and Coast Guard ships and ships from Canada make the city a port of call.
